FREE DIVORCE QUALIFICATIONS

Each month Common Ground selects a number of divorces that we do at no cost to the couple. There are several factors we look at to determine which couples will be selected to include how complex their divorce is, and how much conflict they have. We also look at whether or not they have children and what both of their financial conditions might be both before the divorce and after the divorce is complete.

We do not always select candidates that are low income. Often we will select candidates that have a lot of conflict and have children in an effort to prevent damage to the children from a courtroom battle.

To see if you qualify for a free divorce, you must completely fill out the “Conflict Questionnaire”. At the end of the questionnaire there will be a box that you will need to enter a special code to signify that you would like to be considered for free divorce services. The code that must be entered is CG5309.
Both parties must also be willing to attend an orientation consultation together.
