This calculator is intended to provide an estimate of alimony that one may be required to pay using the criteria and standards set by the Utah State Court system. Unlike child support, there is no formal calculation method used to determine alimony.

Each alimony case is reviewed on a case by case basis by Judges and amounts are determined factoring the length of the marriage, the income history and earning ability of the parties and many other criteria.

Once again this calculator will be an estimate only and should not be considered to be legal advice in any way. If you have minor children, you will first need to calculate the amount of child support to be paid before using the alimony estimator.
